Engr, Walid Basoudan brings 24 years of experience in the Energy industry, started his career at 1987 worked as a Mechanical Engineer in Saudi Aramco. After spending nine Years in Aramco, Eng. Walid has been assigned to Senior Planning Supervisor / Project Engineer & also Eng. Walid worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Saline Water Conversion Corporation. In 2004 he became the Privatization Program Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Strategic Planning where he lead the privatization, restructuring, planning and change management in Saline water Conversion Corporation, during his Career he also worked as Vice President for Tendering & Business Development in EL Seif Engineering Contracting Company, where he lead the Construction for Power Generation, High tech Projects, Railways, Civil Works. Mr. Walid Basoudan presently sits as a Member of the Board at Saudi Masader for Water & Power Company where he also holds the title of President & CEO. In this position he had abroad portfolio of assignments ranging from investments in the Power, Water sectors Project as well as petrochemicals sectors and lead numerous financing, merger and acquisitions and the development of new Projects in the Water & Power Sector.
